"DON'T TELL ME WHAT I AM" (2025) is a 3-part collective of images that encapsulate my personal experiences as a queer Latino. Witnessing first + second-hand homophobia in my academic spaces and my homelife, as well as feeling out of place in my skin after working so hard to be who I am today. This discomfort does not make me fragile; although I may crack like glass, I can stare right back at you.
