FITS@UCI is the Fashion Collective at UC Irvine that provides an open space for creatives to come together on campus. It's objective is to create student-led events that provide industry experience through a magazine and a fashion show every year. During my time in this club, I brought the very first fashion show this club has put on, 'Botanical Metamorphosis'. This show was a celebration of artistry and resilience, which featured brands from other students and staff from other creative clubs.

VISUAL IDENTITY

This fashion show in particular was an exploration of the human experience through the lens of extraterrestrial botany. Themes of florals under fluorescent lighting, reflective metals, and futuristic sounds became a staple to the runway's visual identity, creating both intrigue on campus and engaging audiences during the show. The concept was to mimic rave posters you see on the street, just slightly elevated.

My collection 'HAUS OF LXBRA' was meant to be the embodiment of the theme. I transformed my models into MUGLER inspired extraterrestrial beings dressed in black leather, delicate fabrics, wings sprouting from their head, and flora and fauna growing out of them. HAUS OF LXBRA is the future; it's a metamorphosis of the human being.
